Enabling ShadowAlertness for an Officer

The ShadowAlertness service allows Corrections Officers to check in while escorting inmates for overnight hospital stays. This service provides an essential tool to ensure Officer safety and alertness while on shift outside of the correctional facility. Creating a Corrections Officer can be achieved with the simple one-step Wizard.

ShadowAlertness is only accessible on iOS.

Entering the Officer's Information in Shadowtrack:

  1. Select the Corrections Officers within the navigational menu under Profiles and select the "+Corrections Officer" button.

    You only need to enter the Officer's name, language, and assigned supervisor(s).
  2. Select "Save" to create the Officer's profile.
  3. Once saved, the Officer's profile page will appear. Select "Profile" > "Phone Service" > "Current" > "+Phone."
  4. Fill in all fields, select "EnrolleeApp" under phone type, provide the 10-digit phone number, and then "Save."
  5. The service is now enabled for the Officer to begin checking in.
    1. They must log into the Enrollee App with their login credentials (ID and Password).
The "+Corrections Officer" button option is also available for Tenant Admin users at the Entity level.
  1. Go to the Entity profile.
  2. Select Profiles
  3. Correctional Officers tab
  4. +Corrections Officer" button
The following settings are defaulted within "Services" > "Settings" in the Correctional Officer's profile and should remain as such.
  1. Facial Image Not Required -Yes
  2. ShadowVmail - Yes
  3. Hearing Impaired - Yes
  4. Voice Verification Required - No
