ShadowTether Range Adjustments

The ShadowTether has the ability to adjust the ranges between the ShadowPhone and the ShadowTether. 

  1. The default range is 50 to 80 meters (160 to 260 Feet)
  2. The distance can be adjusted by using the APP "Kbeacon Pro" APP to adjust the TX power as indicated below:

NOTE:
  1. The power consumption will be higher the longer the range
  2. We do not want to make the "Kbeacon Pro" app available to the customer
  3. Range adjustment must be made prior to shipping
  4. The shorter the range, the greater the chances of band away alarms
In the future, we plan to develop our own app so that customers can make their own adjustment.
