ShadowCuff Specifications

The ShadowCuff consists of two primary components:
  1. BRM Side: Handles communication and data transmission
  2. BRX Side: Houses the main battery, providing power to the device.

BRM Specifications

  1. GNSS Support: GPS, Galileo, Glonass, and BeiDou
  2. Location Methods: WiFi and Cellular locating
  3. Locating/Transmitting: 30-second locating with 1-minute transmitting intervals. Location Frequency Intervals range from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, allowing the user to choose how often location is obtained.
  4. Data Communication: Utilizes multiple 4G GSM networks
  5. Offline Storage: 30-day offline storage with auto-sync upon reconnection
    1. Stored location points are plotted using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) method
  6. Alerts:
    1. Vibration alerts for low battery, zone violations, and officer-initiated commands
    2. Real-time audio alerts sent through software

BRX Specifications

  1. Battery Life: Up to 84 hours on a full charge
  2. Backup Battery: Activates automatically when the main battery is depleted, lasting 4 - 6 hours at 30 sec tracking/2 min plotting intervals.

  1. Durability: IP68 rated, waterproof up to 16.4 feet
  2. Design: Strapless with tool-free installation and less than 20-second setup time
  3. Removal Methods: Dual removal via Security Key and software command
