Shadowtrack offers two methods to notify the enrollee it is time to report for a drug test. One is inbound, the other is outbound. The inbound option requires the enrollee to check in daily by selecting the "Drug Test" button on the home screen of the EnrolleeApp.
For more information on how the enrollee checks in for inbound drug testing, please refer to the article here
The advantages of using the inbound drug testing method are:
The enrollee must take ownership of checking in daily.
The enrollee cannot use the excuse, "I did not receive the notification".
The enrollee receives reminders when they forget to check in.
The assigned user will be notified if the enrollee goes 3 consecutive days without checking in.
The location of the enrollee along with the date and time of the check in are recorded.
Setting up the Enrollee for Inbound Drug Testing
To place the enrollee on inbound drug testing:
Go to the enrollee "Profile > Services" tab
Then select the "Drug Testing > Settings" sub tab
Select "Edit"
Then select "Yes" to enable drug testing
Once you enable drug testing, you will notice other fields that populate. Those fields are:
"Method" - this is where you will designate if the enrollee will be using the inbound or outbound method
Select "Inbound"
"Template" - you will choose a drug testing template which designates the frequency at which the enrollee will be required to report for a test
Templates are created at the entity level. If you do not see any templates available to you please refer to the article here that details instructions on creating drug test templates
Once selecting the template, you will see the template details shown
Select "Save"
You will notice the Date Inbound started date/time field being automatically filled in. This keeps a record as to when the enrollee was placed on inbound testing
You are also able to review "Results" and "History" under their respective tabs.
"Results" will show the notification type (inbound/outbound), scheduled date, color code, testing template, and complete (yes/no).
The officer is then able to fill in the following fields; Status, date collected, excused, level of drug reading, any notes, and created by.
"History" will show the testing template, method (inbound/outbound), notification type, template assigned date, template unassigned date, duration (days), assigned by, and unassigned by.
The Color Code report found in the Templates tab allows officers (users) to view both the notifications already sent to enrollees and all scheduled notifications based on assigned templates. To learn more about the Color Code Report view the article here.
