EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode

EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode

EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode uses Significant Movement to retrieve updated locations from the enrollee's mobile device every 50 meters of movement. These locations are plotted on the map, creating a breadcrumb trail of all locations captured during the activation of this mode. These points are labeled "EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode" in the locations list, differentiating them from any other location points obtained from the EnrolleeApp.
Notes
EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode requires a Sysadmin to activate. To request activation of this feature for an enrollee, please submit a support ticket to support@shadowtrack.com

Activating EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode

  1. Navigate to the enrollee's profile
  2. Select the "Services" > "Settings"
  3. Select "Edit"
  4. "EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode" > "Yes"
    1. "Pursuit Mode Until" > "24 hours", "48 hours" or "72 hours"
    2. "Pursuit Mode Until Date" will autofill based on the above selection
Based on the amount of time selected, the EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode will automatically shut off once the time is reached. If EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode needs to be disabled before the end time, this setting can be manually turned off.

All locations obtained during the activation of EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode will be displayed on the Location's Map in the enrollee's "History" > "Locations", and each point listed in the locations list to the right of the map. Each point will display the following:
  1. Date/Time stamp
  2. "Address" button will provide the lat/lon coordinates and show the location on Google Maps
  3. Accuracy
  4. Battery Percentage of the device
  5. Charging Status
  6. Zone Status
When EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode is enabled, significant movement is used to obtain a new location every 50 meters that the device moves. If a device has not moved for 8 hours, a notification is sent through the EnrolleeApp requesting the enrollee to confirm their application status. This ensures that the EnrolleeApp remains open and actively running in the background.

In the event that the device loses connectivity, EnrolleeApp Pursuit Mode locations will be stored and displayed within the enrollee's locations history once connectivity is restored.

A maximum of 2,000 locations can be displayed at once. To see points outside of this threshold, use the date range filters to configure specific time frames.
