Configure WiFi Network on ShadowPhone

WiFi Configuration on a ShadowPhone

Configuring a WiFi network within an enrollee's profile is an essential step to ensure that the ShadowPhone can effectively connect and communicate via the specified network. This configuration allows the ShadowPhone to maintain a reliable connection, ensuring seamless operation and communication for the enrollee. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of setting up a WiFi network on the ShadowPhone, ensuring that all necessary settings are correctly applied.
Configuring a WIFI network within an enrollees profile allows the ShadowPhone to connect/communicate via this network.

Configuring a WiFi Network Within the ShadowtrackONE Platform

  1. Go to the enrollee Profile>Services>Phone tab
  2. On the Phone tab, you will see a sub tab called WIFI Configuration
  3. Select the New button
    1. You can also delete WIFI networks here as well
  4. Enter the Wi-Fi Network ID and Password for the 
  5. Select Save
   

Enabling the Configured WiFi Network on the ShadowPhone

  1. Ensure the network has been added to the enrollees profile within the ShadowtrackONE Platform 
  2. Tap on the EnrolleeApp logo
  3. A prompt will appear asking you to save the configured network. Click Save.
  4. If or once the ShadowPhone is in range of the network it will automatically connect. 


Modifying the Configured WiFi Network

  1. Long press the EnrolleeApp logo
  2. You will be prompted to enter a password to modify the settings
    1. The password is shadow-150-track
  3. Select  the WiFi /Cellular option
  4. You will see the existing network displayed
  5. To change the WIFI network, select the new desired network in the list
