Alarms Dashboard

When viewing the Alarms Dashboard, specific metrics and actions are available. Monitoring Centers can use this dashboard to view alarms in real-time, and work them according to their operating procedures. Please read below for more information on the available features when using the Alarms Dashboard.

Alarms Dashboard

Using the left navigational menu, select the "Devices" > "Alarms" tabs. You will see metrics displaying "Active", "Cleared", "Pending" and "Ignored" statistics. Below these metrics you will see two sub-tabs; "Active" and "Pending".

Active will display all alarms triggered, giving the monitoring operator a full scope of all activity. When viewing this page, the following information is displayed:
  1. Creation Date/Time - Timestamp of when alarm occured
  2. Alarm Type - Specifies which alarm was triggered
  3. Enrollee - Enrollee Name, Alarm Trigger Time (If a grace period exists, this will show the time the alarm was detected prior to the grace period ending), Battery Percentage of Device
  4. Status - Current Status of the Alarm (i.e. Active, Ignored, Cleared, etc)
  5. Assigned User - Assigned user of the Enrollee
  6. Operator - User Interacting with the Alarm
  7. Entity - Assigned Entity of the Enrollee
  8. Alarm Timeline Icon - Allows the User to View a Map of All Locations During the Active Alarm
  9. "Resolve" Button - Allows for the User to Manually Resolve an Alarm, Removing it from the Active Alarms Page and Storing it in the Enrollee's Event History Tab
Double-clicking on an alarm row will open the "Event Details", breaking down all event time information, showing all protocol steps initiated, and any notes entered into the event logs. The option to add a Suspension is also available here, allowing the user to enter a time frame to suspend the alarm before graduating to an "Escalated" state.

The Alarms Dashboard auto-refreshes every 60 seconds, allowing for display of real-time alerts. The "Pending" tab will show all alarms currently in the Pending status. This page displays alarms that have been detected but are awaiting the grace period assigned. If the alarm is resolved before the grace period ends, the alarm will be marked as "Ignored", and no protocol steps will be initiated. If the alarm does not resolve before the grace period ends, it will be marked as "Alarm" within the Active tab.

Alarms can be worked by more than one operator, and all notes are stored in chronological order. The most recent operator name will be displayed in the operator column, showing the last person to have worked it.

Filters are available by selecting the "Show Filters" tab and using the available fields to search by specific information. The "Export" option allows for pulling and exporting information into an Excel spreadsheet for reporting purposes.
