Accessing the Address Query Tab

  1. Navigate to the Address Query Tab: Login to the ShadowtrackONE Platform and locate the left navigational menu. Click on the “Address Query” tab to access the querying interface.

Using the Address Query Tab

The Address Query tab allows for detailed searches by incorporating an address, date, and time criteria, along with a radius specification. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use this feature:

Step 1: Enter an Address

  1. Input Address: In the address field, type the full address of the location you wish to query. This includes the street address, city, and state.

Step 2: Specify the Date and Time Range

  1. Start Date/Time: Select the start date and the time from when you want the search to begin.
  2. End Date/Time: Select the end date and the time at which you want the search to end. This helps in narrowing down to specific intervals.

Step 3: Set the Radius

  1. Adjusting the Radius: The default search radius is set to 100 feet. If necessary, you can adjust this by entering a new value in the radius field to expand or narrow down the search area.
  1. Search: After setting the desired parameters, click the “Search” button to execute the query. The system will process the input data and display the results on the map within the specified radius of the given address and time frame.

Viewing Results

Once the search is executed, the results will be displayed on the map interface.
  1. Identifying Enrollees: Each enrollee who matches the search criteria will be represented as a location point on the map.
  2. View Enrollee Details: Click on any location point on the map to view detailed information about the enrollee, such as the enrollee's name and whether they are utilizing the EnrolleeApp or a GPS device.

Use Case: Crime Scene Correlation

The Address Query tab can be extremely useful in correlating enrollee locations with crime scenes. By entering the address of a recent crime scene and specifying the date and time of the incident, users can identify potential witnesses or suspects who were in the vicinity of the crime scene during the specified time.

Tips for Effective Searches

  1. Accuracy of Address: Ensure that the address entered is accurate to get precise results.
  2. Time Range Appropriateness: Narrow down the time range as much as possible to reduce the breadth of search results and focus on the most relevant time frame.
  3. Adjusting the Radius: Consider the nature of the area being searched; a larger radius might be more appropriate in less dense, rural areas, while a smaller radius could be more suitable in densely populated urban areas.
