Devices Tab

Devices Tab

The Devices tab can be found in the left Navigational Menu and provides details on the devices within that entity. This tab encompasses many sub-tabs, allowing the user to view available, assigned and out of service devices. 

Device Tab

The Device Tab is broken up into multiple sub-tabs, each displaying device data

Pending

  1. Devices listed in the Pending sub-tab are devices that are activated, but not assigned. 
  2. These devices can be filtered by selecting the "Search" button. Filters available are "Device ID" and "Activated Date".
  3. "Suspend" allows the user to disable the SIM for a device. This is only applicable for ShadoWatch and ShadowDevice. ShadowCuff will automatically Activate and Suspend upon assignment/unassignment.
  4. Devices in the Pending tab will also be listed in the Inventory tab as they have not yet been assigned.

Inventory

  1. Devices listed in this tab are all available devices that can be assigned.
  2. Devices in this tab can be filtered by selecting the "Search" button. The following filters are available:
    1. Device ID
    2. Entity
    3. Installer
    4. Assigned User
    5. Regional ID
    6. Lot Number
    7. Active SIM
  3. The "Transfer" button allows TenantAdmins to transfer Inventory between entities and sub-entities available to them. An Audit Log is available to view transfer history. 
  4. The "Make Out of Service" button allows TenantAdmins to move devices to Out of Service (OOS). When moving a device to OOS, a reason must be selected as well as a note entered before moving the device. Devices moved to OOS can no longer be assigned or reactivated. 
  5. The "Export" button allows all users to export a spreadsheet of all devices in Inventory. This export will show Device ID, Entity, Suspended Date, Lot, Regional ID, Assigned User, Imported Date and Idle Billing status.

Assigned Devices

  1. Devices listed in this tab reflect all assigned devices within the users entity. 
  2. These devices can be filtered by selecting the "Search" button. The following filters are available:
    1. Device ID
    2. ICCID ()
    3. Enrollee
    4. Activated Date
    5. Version Number
    6. Lot Number
    7. Entity
    8. Assigned User
  3. Users can unassign a device by selecting the "Unassign Device" button. The user must choose from two options before unassigning the device: "Return to Inventory" or "Out of Service".

Out of Service

  1. Devices listed in this tab have been marked out of service and can no longer be assigned or reactivated. 
  2. These devices can be filtered by selecting the "Search" button. The following filters are available:
    1. Reason
    2. Entity
    3. Lot Number
    4. Device ID
    5. Type (hardware)
  3. Out of Service devices can be transferred between entities and sub-entities within the user's entity. This is done by selecting the "Transfer" button, and selecting an entity from the dropdown menu.

All Devices

  1. This tab will show all devices within the user's entity and any sub-entities. This tab will include Pending, Inventory, Assigned and Out of Service devices. 
  2. These devices can be filtered by the following filters are available:
    1. Device ID
    2. Lot ID
    3. Type (Hardware)
    4. ICCID
    5. Entity
    6. Parent Entity + Sub-Entity (All devices for the parent entity as well as sub-entity devices)
    1. Assigned User
    2. Activated From (Date)
    3. Activated To (Date)
    4. Last Location From (Date)
    5. Last Location To (Date)
    6. Enrollee Name
    7. Quick Range (Dropdown with preconfigured ranges)
  3. The buttons within this tab include the following:
    1. Update Firmware - Select a device from the list and enter the OTA package version to update the device firmware
    2. Activate - Select a device from the list and select Activate to activate the device SIM
    3. Suspend - Select a device from the list and select Suspend to deactivate the device SIM
    4. SIM Status - Select a device from the list and select SIM Status to view active/inactive status

Overview Map

  1. This map will show all assigned devices within your entity and provide location markers. Users can zoom in and out within the map and switch between map and satellite views. 

Activation History

  1. This tab will show Activation History of devices within the user's entity. Activated date, Suspended date, Enrollee, Device ID and Entity will all be listed for each device. 
  2. These devices can be filtered using the by selecting the "Search" button. The following filters are available:
    1. From/To date
    2. Enrollee Name
    3. Device ID
    4. Entity
