ShadoWatch Features

  1. The ShadoWatch uses 4G
  2. The watch uses a combination of GPS, WI-FI, LBS and Bluetooth for interior and exterior tracking

  4. The watch features real-time tracking that is recorded in the ShadowtrackONE Platform immediately after obtaining location data

Satellite Constellations Utilized by the Watch

  1. The ShadoWatch is designed to search for and utilize satellites from various global positioning systems, including GPS, BDS, GLONASS, and others. It automatically selects satellites with the strongest signals to ensure optimal performance. This advanced technology allows the watch to use more than three satellites simultaneously for accurate and reliable tracking.

Tracking Priority

The criteria for switching between GPS, WiFi, and LBS points on the watch are based on the availability of GPS data within each packet. 

Here's how it works:

  1. Simultaneous Acquisition: The watch attempts to obtain both GPS and WiFi data within each packet.

  2. Preference for GPS: If GPS data is available in the packet, it is given priority and used over WiFi data.

  3. Fallback to WiFi: If no GPS data is obtained in the packet, the watch will use the available WiFi data.

  4. Fallback to LBS if no GPS or WiFi: The watch will then attempt to plot an LBS point.

  5. No Direct Switching to WiFi: The watch does not switch from GPS to WiFi directly. Instead, it continuously tries to get both types of data in each packet and prioritizes GPS when available.

By following this approach, the watch ensures the most accurate location data is used, leveraging GPS when possible and falling back to WiFi only when GPS is unavailable.

It is not a fiber optic band 

Watch Screens

  1. Screen 1 of the watch displays the time and day of the week along with the battery life and cellular reception on the device
  2. Press the top button once to scroll and see any new messages. The watch will always save the last message that was sent
  3. Hold the top button down until you feel a vibration and you see the 4g logo in order to reboot it. Release when you see the 4G logo
  4. The watch has an SOS feature that can be accessed when the top button is held down for 3 seconds. The watch will vibrate for 1 second and then send the SOS data along with the latest location obtained to the Shadowtrack platform. When this occurs, the watch will also place a call to the SOS phone number that was entered for the watch. 

We cannot turn off or stop AMBER Alerts being sent through the watch. 
AMBER Alerts are sent through Law enforcement. They interrupt regular programming and are broadcast through Internet search engines and wireless devices.
