Devices Out of Service Tab

Devices within your entity can be moved Out of Service for various reason. When moving devices to Out of Service it is important to note that these devices can no longer be reactivated, and a reason must be selected before transferring the device. Once devices have been moved to the Out of Service tab, these devices can be filtered and exported.

Out of Service Tab

The Out of Service tab is helpful in keeping track of devices no longer in use. By selecting the "Search" button, the user can customize a streamlined report and export the spreadsheet to their files. 
  1. Select the "Search" button and filter from the following options
    1. "Reason" - 
      1. "Lost"
      2. "Stolen"
      3. "Destroyed/Damaged"
      4. "Out of Service"
      5. "Defective"
      6. "Inventory Reduction"
      7. "Retired"
    2. "Entity" - Type in the entity name to search for Out of Service devices within that entity
    3. "Lot No." - Type in the specific lot number to search for devices
    4. "Device ID" - Type in the Device ID number to search for one specific device
    5. "Type" - Select from the dropdown list the type of device the user is searching for
  2. After choosing one or more filtering options, select "Apply Filter" to see all devices that match the user's filter criteria.
  3. "Reset" can be selected to clear the filter fields 
The Out of Service tab provides the option to transfer Out of Service devices to another entity. 
  1. Select the "Transfer" button
  2. Select an entity from the dropdown list
  3. Once the entity has been selected, click "Transfer" 
  4. The device has now been transferred to the entity selected
The Export button allows the user to export a spreadsheet of all Out of Service devices, or filter for specific devices and export only those.
  1. To export all devices simply just select "Export" 
  2. To export for specific devices, use the filters in the "Search" option and select "Export" 
The following information will be included in the exported spreadsheet:
  1. Device ID
  2. Entity Name
  3. Reason
  4. Note
  5. Device Type
  6. Out of Service Date
  7. Lot ID Number
