Entity Platform Access Types

Entity Platform Access Types

The Platform Access Type setting allows administrators to control whether an entity can access the Community version, the Institutional version, or Both. This configuration impacts the user interface, features, and permissions available to the entity’s users. This is only accessible by a Sysadmin.

1. Community Only

  • Displays the current standard version of the platform.

  • Matches the existing default experience for most entities.

2. Institutional Only

  • Activates the new institutional view and related functionality.

  • Users will see the interface and features designed specifically for institutional use.

3. Both

  • Grants access to both Community and Institutional versions.

  • User Assignment Logic: Users will have visibility of both types of schedule templates.
