Create a New Entity
How To Create A New Entity:
- Select the Entities tab from the left navigational menu
- Here, you will see the option to Add a Sub Entity under any of the entities in the list
- Select the Add Sub Entity button next to the desired entity
- Fill in the entity name and select Save
- Once the entity is created, you will see it appear in the entity list. You will notice the entity has several sub-tabs after it is created. Please refer to the Entities section of the knowledge base, which details each sub-tab on the entity profile.
You must have TenantAdmin permissions to create new entities.
Only SysAdmins can delete or update names for an entity. These requests should be sent to support@shadowtrack.com.
"Retrieve Address Locations" is defaulted to on, meaning that any hardware devices assigned within the entity will display numerical addresses for each location point obtained. Address Locations will not be displayed for EnrolleeApp locations.
