FAQs

What is Shadowtrack?

  1. Shadowtrack offers an easy and dignified way to complete your court-ordered home incarceration requirements. No embarrassing devices are attached to your body, and nothing needs to be installed in your home.

How does the EnrolleeAPP monitoring work?

  1. The EnrolleeAPP uses voice and facial biometric authentication that relies on behavioral and physical characteristics. Your voice consists of unique features that make it distinct from all others. It’s not just the shape of your vocal cords, larynx, mouth, tongue, and lips but also how you use them that creates a unique “voice signature.” Computer analysis of the digitized voice signal will produce a specific, quantifiable, and reliable verification of your identity. Your face consists of unique characteristics that outline your facial features. These are used to confirm your identity.

How does sobriety monitoring work?

  1. The BACtrack device is paired with the EnrolleeAPP using Bluetooth. Sobriety is a schedule of 24 hours, seven days a week, with no exceptions. You will get random alerts to complete a sobriety test. The alert is timed and should be completed accordingly.

Can I get a copy of my compliance activity?

  1. Compliance reports are only visible to the supervising agent, court, or attorney overseeing your monitoring. Due to the program's integrity, active Enrollees are not given compliance reports.

What type of phone services are allowed with the EnrolleeAPP?

  1. A cell phone that can download mobile apps is required to use our mobile app service. It does not matter which cell phone carrier they have. There is no charge to download the EnrolleeAPP. A landline with basic touch-tone service and call waiting can be used if no cell service is available. This must be approved by the supervising agent, court, or attorney.

What if I miss a call or an alert for any reason?

  1. If an alert or call is missed or there is an issue with the call, we recommend selecting the Voice Verification button in the EnrolleeAPP or calling back into the system as soon as possible. You should also keep an accurate record to be presented to the court or supervising agent if questioned about specific calls.
